The Bloody Knife

The park was about two blocks square with a fountain in the middle and a small swimming pool for kids. Since it was the fall the pool was empty, but the fountain was still going. The tall trees made it dark and shady, perfect for a hideout but we prefered the vacant lot. Suddenly we heard a cars horn. it was the blue mustang. The Soc's were circling the park. We thought about running but it was to late. They were already coming this way. Johnny pulled a Switchblade from his back pocket. He looked scared. We wished Darry and Soda would come. 4 on 5 would help us out a lot we could easily take them with 4. We started to have a fight. They called us white trash with dirty hair. So we called them white trash with mustangs and madras. Then i spit at them. They came at me so i started to run but a soc caught me. He dunked my head into the fountain. I couldn't breathe. I was gasping for air. My mind went red and the next thing i knew i was laying next to the fountain. I saw Johnny neeling over me. I looked around And i saw bob lying on the ground bleeding. I felt sick. I was wondering what was going through Johnny's mind. I just couldn't believe he killed someone.

The Movie and Popcorn

After the movie the Girls that Darry was hanging out with needed a way home. So Two-Bit offered to walk them home. But the girls said "no, its ok" but Two-Bit talked them into getting a ride. We walked to Two-Bits house to get His car. We talked about why Soc's and greasers are different. I thought it was because there rich and were not. I was half right. It is mostly because Soc's have alot of aloofness. They always fight dirty. Two-Bit and Marcia weren't listening to us. they were having a wild conversation. I have quite a rep for being quit, im almost as quiet as Johnny. I started talking about mickey mouse, sodas horse. after we sold it soda bawled. I cried a bit. After that we stopped talking for a bit. Chery said "Do you read books alot? Because it seems like it. The Soc's road down the street in a blue mustang. cherry explained who it was. we acted calm as the mustang passed us. cherry asked about darry. but i didnt know what to say. there wasnt much to say. I asked if We could walk to the park then to are house.

When Pony Got Jumped

I was walking home. It was dark and i was alone. I heard a rattle. I turned around. It was just a cat. I heard a car drive into the alley. It was a soc's car. I started to run. One hit me with a bat while they drove by. I fell down. I started to run the other way. I turned the corner. A soc hit me with a golf club. Another one jumped on me and held me down and put a knife to my throat. He pressed it so hard to my neck it started to bleed. I was unconcious. I woke up and i saw Darry. We Walked home and talked about what happened.

Journal Entry 2

Me and Johnny met Dally and went to the drug store to goof around. We tried to steal stuff but the manager told us to leave. He was such a loser. We went to the dingo after we got kicked out. theres always a fight going on. We walked around and talked to some friends. There was a fight going on. A greaser vs a Mexican hitchhiker we left when the fight got serious. A man pulled a switchblade. We left because we new the pigs would come soon and because i heard a siren. We went to the field and chased 2 junior high kids across it. It was dark enough to sneak into the drive-in. Dally didnt like to do it the legal way to get in. He always found ways to break rules. Dally spotted girls and try to smooth talk. The girls asked my name. I hesitated, then told them. they started talking like dally. I think the one likes me. johnny stood up for the girls because dally started doing dumb stuff after he gave them cokes. one of them threw it in his face. You obviously know what happened next.
